The knife's forked tip also makes it ideal for picking up and serving small slices. Though named a tomato knife, this knife is also great for cheese, fruit, breadĀ and other foods with firm top layersĀ such as rinds, crusts or skins.
Each knife in the Gourmet series by Wusthof-Trident is precisely cut from a single piece of high-quality steel with the latest state of the art laser technology. The steel used in this line is the same as that in the renowned Wusthof Classic and Classic Ikon forged series. The Gourmet line is very comfortable to use, and knives with blades over 4.5" feature a full tang for optimum balance. Every Wusthof Gourmet knife is very sharp, making each and every cut clean and easy.
